The team worked together and all the players played well! We have been working on communication and discipline in our positioning, and I thought we did well. Our hard work gave us our first win of the season. Congrats to the team!

Our girls unfortunately fell to Syracuse and despite not having enough subs the entire team came together and learned to play on the go. Our keeper was great! For being her first time ever playing, she looked like a pro! I am so proud of everyone. I thought the second half was much better. We
Previous Next Our 8th grade football team started of the season against local rival Mount Ogden. Highland played a great game in all three phases of the game, especially on defense holding Mount Ogden scoreless for the game. Our 7th graders took on the Syracuse Storm on August 25th at Highland Junior High. The Hikers played a tough, hard fought game, but ended up losing 45-0. The Hikers plan to bounce back this week against West Haven on this Saturday.
All girls currently in 4th through 7th grade interested in attending softball camp this summer please email Coach Witman. The camp will be on June 18th through June 29th from 5:00 to 7:00pm at Highland Junior High. There is no cost to attend the camp, so come on out and bring a friend!

After 2 innings, Highland lead 4-2 before the wheels started to come off. Syracuse scored 8 runs in the top of the third-inning and added one run after a lightening delay in the top of the fourth-inning for a 11-4 victory. Congratulations boys on a wonderful season.
